OPEN FRONTIER PERSPECTIVES / CODEBASES

Make your codebase easier to reason about.

Agents need context. Teams benefit from the same clarity.

Make intent discoverable

Explain what the system does, how its parts fit together and where changes belong. Keep setup instructions current. A concise map and reliable commands are more useful than a large collection of stale documents.

Create fast, trustworthy feedback

A change should have a way to prove itself. Start with repeatable builds and tests that cover meaningful behavior. Make failures understandable so both people and agents can correct the underlying problem.

Define the boundaries of change

Document sensitive areas, interfaces and review expectations. Give a task a clear scope and acceptance criteria. Preserve human ownership of architecture and release decisions.

Try one representative task

Pick a small real change and observe where the agent gets stuck. Missing context, slow feedback and ambiguous ownership become a concrete readiness backlog. Improve that backlog before expanding adoption.
