OPEN FRONTIER PERSPECTIVES / PEOPLE

Find the people already finding a better way.

The first signal of useful AI adoption may already be inside your team.

Start with curiosity

Look for people who test new approaches, explain what they learn and question the output. Seniority and raw coding volume are incomplete signals. Learning agility, clear communication and sound judgment matter.

Give champions a real problem

Choose a bounded piece of work with a clear owner and an observable outcome. Give the team access to appropriate tools and enough time to experiment. Capture the starting point so the result can be compared honestly.

Turn individual progress into shared capability

Ask what made the result possible. Was it better repository context, a reusable workflow or a stronger review process? Document those conditions and test whether another team can reproduce them.

A question for your next team meeting

Who has changed how they work in a way that others could learn from? Start there, and build an experiment around a real business need.
